The statutorily defined professional designations of audit firm (“Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft”) and accounting or tax accounting firm (“Steuerberatungsgesellschaft”) were officially awarded in the Federal Republic of Germany.

On 8 June 2005 the Chamber of Chartered Accountants (Public Accounts) issued certification of our participation in the quality control system under section 57a, paragraph 6, sentence 7 of the Auditors Statutes (WPO). This certification applies up through 8 June 2011.

The firm is registered in the form of a professional partnership (Partnerschaftsgesellschaft) with the Partnership Register of Essen Local Court under the number of PR 685.

Our European value-added tax identification number is: DE126100734.

The regulatory authority with jurisdiction over us is the Chamber of Chartered (Public) Accountants (“Wirtschaftsprüfungskammer”) and the Chamber of Tax Accountants of Westphalia-Lippe (“Steuerberaterkammer Westfalen-Lippe”).
The auditors’ and accountants’ profession is basically subject to the occupational law regulations listed below:

  • Professional Code of Tax Accountants ( BOStB)
  • Tax Accountants’ Fee Regulations ( StBGebV)

Professional Liability Insurance is granted by Versicherungsstelle Wiesbaden, Dotzheimer Str. 23, 65185 Wiesbaden with European Coverage.
